Night Of the Living Dead - Show
posted by Andy
In honor of the Majestic Theater's production of "Night of the Living Dead" I will be showcasing photographic work presented with customized frames and enclosures suitable for an evening with the undead. Images are on display through early October. The Majestic Theatre is located at 115 SW 2nd Street, Corvallis OR.
Here are some samples:
"Voracious Daisy" Old iron pipes and plastic dowel around the close-up of a daisy.
"No Hunting" Image over recycled skinned stuffed animals. I actually support hunting in moderation, but this just seemed too good an idea to pass up.
"Pyroclastic Adhesion" Old burlap covered in glued dirt, very stiff, with a manipulated macro image of Pacific coast barnacles.

What a wonderful idea! From what I see displayed here, the framing ideas work wonderfully!
I've followed your work for a while on flickr and noticed that you shoot a lot of local theater. Do you plan on shooting the Night of the Living Dead production? My daughter is one of the zombie extras and I may be interested in purchasing prints, depending of what may be available.
Thanks, Jen.
Yes, I'll be shooting one (or more) of the dress rehearsals. I usually give a few copies on CD to the Majestic office. As long as it doesn't become "work" for me, the photos are free to cast members and crew. In the past I burned discs for the whole cast, but that got too expensive and took forever. Thanks for looking.
