I've been trying to snap some shots of our chickens' feet. I know birds are distant relatives of the old dinos, but seeing it close up really drives the point home. Birds are really odd critters if you take the time really observe - scales, claws, spiked tongues, eggs ...

Aren't chicken feet funny. They actually creeped me out at first, but as I have owned them longer they don't bother me. Great pictures, I love the colours!
The yellow of the feet against the green wrought iron chair...bootiful!
And here I was trying to make these city-breed "mommas" birds look scary and spooky. Drats!
