Podcast: Photoshop TV (video)

If you're a geek, digital photographer, nerd, artist, geek, iTunes user, or trying to impress the geek in your life check out the video podcast from Photoshop TV (direct subscription link). Especially if Santa left you a video iPod or you travel a lot with a laptop.

Oh, and I've worked with a couple of people in and out of Mondo Media. I noticed they've got a Happy Tree Friends podcast as well. I thinks it's a great match ... if you like "Itchy & Scratchy" type humor (critters and violence).

Photos: More Frosty Things

Here are a few more hoar frost covered snapshots. Barb wire fence, lock on a gate and a junko in an apple tree.

Yet another frosty foto. This one has been heavily edited in Photoshop, even though it may not look it. I noticed this off the side of the road in the woods. It took some stomping through brambles and frostbit fingers to get it.

Photo: Frosty Hummer

Here's a lucky shot from today's glorious frosty morning. I stepped out back hoping to get a shot of a bird on the frosted tree in the backyard and had this guy (gal?) zip past and land on the blackberry bush. I really don't think hummers are all that bright. I very slowly got closer and snapped a few shots. All he did was scan left and right for possible 'enemies' - other hummers. I believe it's an Anna's hummingbird, which overwinter instead of migrating like the Rufus. Once you learn to recognize their sharped pitched peeps it's easier to find them.
